Mario Maurer Penshoppe Fan Conference

Mario Maurer is a hit in Manila! This after the Mario Maurer FanCon (fan convention) organized by Penshoppe was a huge success. Fans of the Thai heartthrob trooped to the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) as Penshoppe’s new image model met and greeted his Pinoy followers. Maurer was understandably surprised by the turnout. In an interview, he said he did not expect to have so many fans in the Philippines.

Girls (and gays) screamed to their hearts’ content at every opportunity. Even at the start, during a Mario Maurer video presentation, Pinoy fans were already busting each other’s eardrums with their screams. And when Maurer finally appeared, the decibels increased even further. The Thai heartthrob further thrilled his Filipino fans by dancingand answering questions later at the event.

This is the “bonggang” stage of the Penshoppe event! The venue was perfect, sound system was perfect too, the front acts, guests and the whole event was really really great and Mario Maurer as the new brand ambassador of Penshoppe is EXCELLENT! This Penshoppe Fan Conference fits the word “PERFECT

with the guest performer BLUSH

The ever-hot VJ Utt hosting the event (he is also a Thai)

(L-R) The handsome Mikael Daez and Victor Basa as the first endorsers who introduced Penshoppe to all of us.

The smokin hot Solenn Heussaff who is also an erdorser of Penshoppe, also gave information about the brand.

Jake Galvez and IC Mendoza fighting over Mario! I hope I took a video of their conversation instead of pictures. Haha! They were really so funny, though VJ Utt did not understand them. LOL!

And as you can see, VJ Utt is already in the middle, trying to stop these funny bekis! Haha 😛

Ms. Joyce Ramirez, the director for International Publicity for PR Asia Worldwide – The Philippines’ Leading Publicity, gave also a talk and she is also one of the reasons why Mario Maurer is here! 🙂 We owe her a lot!

And this is it! Mario Maurer for Penshoppe!!!!! Look at the crowd! Oh well, the video speaks for itself!

Interview – Mario with Ms. Joyce

And guess what?! Mario did the dougie for his Filipino fans!! He is so far, the cutest person who tried to do the dougie!! ♥

Mario Maurer is thrilled to do a movie with Kapamilya star Erich Gonzales

102611-mario-main.jpgBest known as Shone in the movie Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Thai Heartthrob Mario Maurer has created much hype among his Filipino fans who trailed after him, from his arrival at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport to his special appearance at the store opening of Bonchon Chicken restaurant at II Terrazzo in Quezon City, this Wednesday afternoon, October 26.  Although the crowd who welcomed him was a bit overwhelming, the accommodating actor really made an effort to reach out to his avid fans everywhere he went.

After his first engagement, Mario went straight to the ABS-CBN compound to officially seal a deal with Star Cinema for his much-anticipated film with Kapamilya star Erich Gonzales. “I’m going to have my first movie in the Philippines and today I signed a contract with Star Cinema. I’ll be working with Erich Gonzales. I’ve never met her, but I’m looking forward to meet her. As for the story of our movie, I know a part of it, but they haven’t given me the script yet. Most of it will be shot in Thailand and a part of it will be shot in the Philippines,” said a beaming Mario in an exclusive junket with ABS-CBN reporters.

Of German-Chinese descent, Mario also shared that he knows a little bit about our country since his best friend happens to be a Filipino. He’s looking forward to visiting famous tourist destinations such as Boracay; but it seems that such pleasure trips would have to wait with all the work commitments lined up for him in the Philippines. “I have a best friend who’s a Filipino. And he says that the sea here is very beautiful. If I have time, I would love to travel around the Philippines.”

Many who met Mario today was further charmed as he took an interest to the Philippine jeepney, which reminded him of Thailand’s public mode of transportation known as tuktuk. “I saw a jeepney for the first time today. It’s cute but very big. It’s bigger than the Thai jeepney called tuktuk. But Philippines jeepney is a lot bigger. I have a miniature of the Philippine jeepney back home,” said Mario who’s known for collecting vintage car toys.

As for the rest of his stay here in Manila, Mario can’t wait to meet all of his Filipino supporters at his Penshoppe fan conference to be held at the PICC, 1PM, this Friday, October 18. “We’re expecting around 4,000 people on that day. It’s a very big fan meeting for me. I came all the way from Thailand, so I’m ready. And I’m very excited to meet my fans because the only way I communicate with them is on Twitter. I’m really happy to be here.”

Mario Maurer Arrives in Manila

The star of “Love of Siam” and the hit “Crazy Little Thing Called Love”, Mario Maurer, has now landed in Philippine grounds!

Many Filipinos know him but there are a few who don’t, but those who don’t will definitely be familiar with him very soon especially now that he’s already in the country and has started to make noise!!!

At 11:30am today, Mario landed in NAIA via Thai Airways. After getting off the plane, he stayed in the vip lounge for a while with his publicist and some people from Penshoppe.

Around 12:30nn he came out and was welcomed by ABS-CBN tv crews and heaps and heaps of fans. He was asked what the purpose of his visit is, he said it was to see his fans and do stuff for Penshoppe… and maybe more? I’m sure many doors will open for him while he’s here.

Mario didn’t entertain much questions. He walked towards the exit, with his (minimal) entourage, but stopped for a while to wave to his screaming fans. He seemed surprised and very happy to see his Filipino supporters. He definitely got the warm welcome he deserves…
